I am listing this super cool 1958 Chevy Corvette that is in my collection. These cars are one of the coolest looking muscle cars in history. This car has a very interesting race car history as well. This corvette was the Shasta Monterey Cola SECA promotional car. It was driven by the late Gary Hansen SCCA Trans Am Race Car Driver nickname "The Dolphin" in the SECA CAN-AM series races as well as promoting the Shasta Monterey Cola Grand Prix Raceway. in Laguna California where it spent most of its life. This car is untouched from the days that Gary owned this great American car. I have an information sheet explaining some of the history of this car as well as some historic photos of this car on the track, with female models and being displayed at malls in the California area. It this car could talk it would have some interesting stories to tell. The car is a factory black car that originally had red seats but were converted over to black at some point. I was told it has never seen any bad weather and has 20,000 original miles on the car. The car still has the original rims pictured in all the photo graphs in the picture history that I have and seen on the track and in promotional photos. The car has the 283 engine which is a blast to drive and still chirps the tires in all 4 gears...so fun. Removable hard top makes the car look very cool as well. The car is nicely detailed in my opinion. The paint lays very nice and flat and has a lot of shine to it. There are a few small cracks in the vents on the hood and few other small cracks if you look for them. I believe everything is original on the car however I am no Corvette expert. I just love these cars and am listing it just to see the interest and see what happens. The car runs and drives very nice for a corvette of this time period. Please let me know if you have any questions. I can email my phone number to you if you are a serious bidder or buyer but happy to answer any questions that you have. I also might list some of the others cars in my collection. I have some real SE Bandit cars 1[hidden information], 73 Trans Am 4 speed, later model Z28's 1979's, 1969 Corvette and a very low mile 1980 Corvette as well. I might list my Martinque Blue 78 Trans Am also. Happy Bidding.
