Own a piece of beautiful Corvette history with this perfectly restored 1967 CHEVROLET CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE. If you are an avid Corvette collector-----this is the 'BEST OF THE BEST' in a complete FRAME OFF RESTORATION to add to and stand out above those you already own. If you are in the market for your first Corvette or that person who once owned a 1967Corvette when you were fresh out of high school---only to part with it to raise your family then why not start back in the hobby with one that needs NOTHING. You will have to look long and hard to find a 1967 vehicle with any more new parts on it and with a restoration of such perfection. The fit of every panel on this car is unbelievable! An important thing to keep in mind is that this car is a 2018 BLOOMINGTON GOLD WINNER with a FRESH RESTORATION. The judges for this prestigious event spent a great deal of time trying to find flaws but in the end decided that the months of work put into the restoration merited nothing less than a GOLD rating. Many people advertise a "Gold" Winner but it could be a 10-15 year old restoration.
This particular car was sold new at Kline Automotive in Norfolk, Va. (see window sticker picture) and spent most of it's time in the Virginia area. Mild temperatures and weather conditions during these years were responsible for the rust-free condition of the chassis when restoration finally began. I purchased it from Valley Auto in Bedford, Pa. in 2013. (see picture) For the past two years the car was completely disassembled and meticulously researched and restored by Munk Restorations in Sandusky, Ohio. This is not the first 'Bloomington Gold' winning Corvette Mr. Munk has produced and it won't be the last. Kyle Munk has a reputation for doing any type of work perfectly the first time with quality to last for years of enjoyment. A total of 125 miles has been put on the car since restored.
Not only will the buyer get an impeccably restored Corvette but they will receive a complete history of all paperwork available, copies of receipts accumulated in the restoration, and picture history of the restoration, judging process, and award related photos.
