Too many vehicles!!! I’m offering up my 60k original mile 1970 DODGE CORONET 440 to the highest reasonable bidder. Reserve is set for what I have into the car, which now runs/drives/shifts &stops! It does need help in the stop department and I think a 4 corner brake job would be all she needs. I can tool it around the subdivision with no issues but for any highway driving, a full brake job is suggested.
It’s a ‘70 CORONET 440 model, EARLY SEPTEMBER 1969 BUILD with the orig 318 and 904 auto(which recently had a fluid and filter change). Runs smooth and quiet, the Holley 4bbl and Offey intake might be alittle much for her tho with everything else being stock and orig. All mouldings are in the trunk from I can see, I didn’t pay them all out to see if anything is missing. VINYL TOP MOULDINGS ARE ALL THERE!!
original color combo is EV2 HEMI ORANGE W/ a WHITE VINYL TOP AND INTERIOR. Last plated in 1990, is sat in a dry garage all those years. The body is nice an the underside is solid....but scaley. Frame rails are solid as is the crossmember, but I can see some welding was done at the rearmost part of the car, where the bumper attaches. I’m guessing whomever had the bumper off at one time prolly spun those cage nuts and had to do some generic fabrication back there. Again, this car was last touched in 1990 so some things look “1990” because parts weren’t available as they are today. I only say this due to the rubber gas line that ran 50% beneath the car and the hokey throttle hookup/spring return that I never got around to fixing correct. Just installed new fuel tank and sender for obvious reasons and I too had to install a couple feet of rubber line since the metal line had a slow seep in one of the bends, not to mention the scoops being in the wrong place!
I would suggest trailering this car unless your within close distance, it’s been off the road(s) since 1991 or earlier, so obviously there’s no warranty that applies and the car is SOLD AS IS....WHERE IS, as any other vehicle of this age would be. I reserve the right to end the auction early since the car is for sale in other areas of the internet, and locally as well. Once the low reserve is met, THE CAR WILL BE CONSIDERED SOLD AND BE SOLD FROM THAT POINT ON STRICTLY THRU EBAY, AND IF COURSE TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER!
NON REFUNDABLE $300.00 due within 24 hours of AUCTIONS END, and the rest in cash or bank wire at the time of pickup or prior to of course.
Any questions you can call or text me at 586/[hidden information] and if I don’t answer, hang tight, leave a message, I’m a regular guy with a regular 9to5 as well! I’ll work with anybody on time of pickup, and how long but please, let’s be realistic. Let’s start with pickup within 2 weeks after auctions end, if you need more time, let’s talk it over please.
Thankyou, I’m sure they’ll be many questions but I’m here to answer them as soon as I possibly can.
ONE LAST IMPORTANT THING....
DUE TO THE “PANDENIC” I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO GET TO OUR SECRETARY OF STATE TO PUT THE TITLE IN MY NAME AND APPTS ARE INTO MARCH2021. THERE IS NO INFORMATION OF MINE ON THE TITLE AT ALL. Your call, I can get it in my name ASAP, or your free to take it as it is during these crazy times. If it’s a dealbreaker for you, then please refrain from bidding. THANKYOU FOR READING AND UNDERSTANDING!!!
Jim
