I purchased this car from a gentleman that told me he had the car about 3-4 years ago but wasn’t ready to let go of it.
He called me about a month ago wanting to sell the car, knowing it was a really cool car and that I was now in AZ and not Illinois I made arrangements for a friend to pick it up and keep it at his house until it either sells or I can pick it up and drag it out here to AZ.

So the car is a little funny...
It has a straight axle in it... So they cut the lower inner fenders out and removed the shock towers. The original front frame rails were retained and are for the most part un-modified.

this thing is just about as good as you can get for a Midwest car. the crossmembers are perfect, rear frame rails are too.
Front floor pans are surface rust only and rears still have paint on them which continues under the back seat, over the rear axle, both full wheel wells and across the trunk all the way to the taillight panel. All still factory painted and super nice!!!
the quarters have some holes down low but the rockers are really good and the wheel tubs and above the outer wheelwell is perfect! The worst part is a pole the fell over and hit the passenger quarter panel, my buddy said he could pop it out and it wouldn’t be so noticeable but I want everybody to see it for what it is, very fixable.
The front fenders have a few small holes but they are really good compared to most.
Both doors are super solid with the drivers door having a dent.
The original Shark Tooth grill is about as nice as you can get and not missing any teeth and has decent parking lights.
Both bumpers are very decent with the back bumper being slightly dented.

The taillights are nice and tail panel is rust free as are the trunk gutters and around both front and rear windows.

the dashboard is complete minus the original am radio. Rally Gauge cluster is in nice shape other than the plastic that as all is faded and someone cut for an aftermarket stereo.
The door panels and arm rests are almost like new! Front and rear! The seats had never been out until I had my friend clean the car up and look for the broadcast sheet. All trim is present.

The original engine is long gone but there was the A833 23 spline transmission, bellhousing, shift fork, flywheel, pressure plate and driveshaft in the trunk along with the original non console shifter and shift rods.

the 8.75 rear differential does not have a center section but is original to the car.

The straight axle is a dropped aftermarket unit that was installed fairly well but could be removed, new inner fenders and shock towers replaced, a proper V8 K member and she would be ready for a proper 340.
Or what I was going to do, get some 10” cragar SS for the rear, build a nasty 340/360 and drive it like it was built, nose high and banging gears! Enjoy blowing peoples minds with a barnfind Street Freak and have a blast with it then give it the proper correct restoration the car deserves!

This thing is really cool and in exceptional condition compared to what else is out there. Plus it’s a Super Rare color combo and a 4 speed!!!

EBAY RULES IF YOU WANT TO BID ON THIS CAR!

The shipping price is within the contiguous United States of
America. Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Ask prior to bidding.

I will ship over seas but the price will differ from the
listing price. No exception, send your postal code and I will send you a
shipping quote.

And now 10 rules you MUST READ!

1. Your bid is a contract! If you are the successful bidder,
you are expected to pay! Please have all contingencies handled and your money
in place BEFORE you bid! No retractions will be allowed, so be sure BEFORE you
bid!  Please read and understand
this:  ASK QUESTIONS AND GET ANSWERS
BEFORE YOU BID.

2. A $500.00  NON
-NEGOTIABLE

NON - REFUNDABLE partial payment/deposit is due within 48
hours of end of auction. This can be by bank wire transfer or Pay Pal.

Balance is due within 7 days of auction's conclusion. This
can be by bank wire transfer as well, and is probably the safest method.

3. Please note that the car is currently at my residence in
Champaign Illinois.

4. Vehicle and papers will not leave here until paid in full
with cleared funds. If you are paying with ANY kind of check, it must clear MY
bank before car or ownership will be released. No exceptions! Please note that
with all the fraudulent money orders out there, most banks treat them like
personal checks and place a 5 to 7 business day hold on them. Wire transfer is
the best method.  If you are paying
balance on pickup, it must be cash in person.
No exceptions.

5. Vehicle is sold strictly as-is at my premises with no
guarantee or warranty of any kind.

6. Transportation is the buyer's responsibility. I will try
to reasonably help and accommodate you any way I can, but it still YOUR
responsibility.

7. If you cannot pick up immediately, that is fine, it can
be left here for a reasonable period. However, it still must be paid for within
the 7 days, and you should secure insurance as I cannot be responsible for loss
or damage due to circumstances beyond my control or act of God.

8. Please ask and get satisfactory answers to all questions
BEFORE YOU BID! Since sold strictly as/is, no warranty or returns, once you
bid, you have made a binding contract.

9. Car is advertised locally for sale. If I find a buyer
through that venue, I reserve the right to end auction early. Please call or
text me at 5TWO0-7THREE0-8SIX9NINE with any further
questions and leave a messages if I do not answer.

10. If you have been an Ebay member for less than a year
and/or have less than 10 feedbacks, and/or have less than a 95% rating, you
MUST contact me BEFORE you bid. Failure to do this may result in my cancelling
your bid and blocking you from bidding on my items current and future. I
understand that new members can be great customers, but I must talk to you
first. Thanks a lot.

I am sorry for all the rules, but it seems that 5% of
difficult people spoil it for the 95% who are good.  Thanks very much for looking! Again, please
feel free to call or text 5two0-7three0-8six9nine with any questions and leave a message
if there is no answer.

Thanks
for looking!
