1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass
Pristine condition. People are absolutely amazed to find out that this car is perfectlyoriginal and unrestored. This makes it easily the best kind of car to buy. This is an absolute investment grade automobile.
Only 40,468 miles original. Garage kept ALWAYS. Cherished car that shows as near to perfect as imaginable. Even the original seat belt instruction paper is still on the driver's side visor, with no sun fading. This meets all the criteria for a top level heirloom car.
History:Car was bought new in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and imported when new to the US. There it lived it's life. Then it was brought back to Calgary where it currently resides. Please disregard the location as Montana. Ebay has no provision for those with multiple residences. The car has hardly ever had any use. Now it's down to none.
We have small children, found other interests along the way, and generally lost a great deal of our ambition for owning many classic cars. We are effectively through with being stewards to them. We waffled a bit but have decided to sell this one too. This one is amongst the very last. Along the way, we've made some good friends and built some good feedback. Please feel free to view. This vehicle is free of any import/export restrictions and can travel freely as a bird.
As a small personal opinionsidetone, this car looks absolutely magnificent but would be totally unbelievable with a nice set of classicchrome wheels. Aluminum torque thrusts would be a greatmuscle look. Or maybe some some dazzlingchromeCragar S/S wheels would be very suiting. It's up to you.
Shipping details, etc.....
You don't have to worry about a thing. My wife will set up everything. Ironically, now that we're almost done selling off... she's actually got pretty good at it. We've found that shipping to most states is in the $1,500 - 2,000 range. Further destinations such as Texas and Florida can be 2,250 or 2,500. Please budget for at least this much.
Viewing in person is suggested and recommended but, you're welcome to send anaccreditedautomobile appraiser for athird party evaluation. In fact, I'll make this promise... If you have one come to view the car and he gives you any reason for which you decline to buy the car..... We'll pay for the inspection! (I don't know how someone can be much more fair than that)
And, well.... not really sure what else to add. The car is really quite exquisite and speaks for itself.
If you have to buy a repainted, restored, redone car... it's always a bit risky how long till ghosts of it's past come through the paint. NOW, If you are offered a perfect original for about the same dollars... definitely think twice!!! Original unrestored cars have the greatest investment value and continue to rise as acommodity. They are quickly becoming the pinnacle in collecting. They've also become quickly and increasingly uncommon and rare!
If I've forgotten anything, or if you have any questions, please write. Or if you'd like to talk over the phone, I'd be happy to as well. Just write to me and we'll arrange a conversation.
