Description
HISTORY
I brought this as a diamond in the rough 5 years ago from the 3rd LADY owner who had stored it in a barn for 12 years).
Garaged since I have owned, comes with service folder and receipts back to early 2000's.
The car needed alot of work but I saw alot of potential as it was an unmolested original example, including the original AM radio!
The owner advised she wanted to sell it to an enthusiast who would bring "her" back to life as she loved the car very much, the car is a "she" as it's name was Cleo!
At least 20 years of Cleo's 42 year history is known and the previous owner brought it from a friend who was the 2nd owner who resided in the Mornington Peninsula.
The original owner brought it from the UK and imported it to Australia. We know this as there is no local Australian import plates.
Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust advised the car was classed as a home delivery and was brokered by Henlys of London.
This is the most powerful for its era being a 9:1 compression example. All chassis, Motor and gearbox numbers match. Including the original Borg Warner Transmission Car with the black matt boot lid!
