Description

3/1982 Suzuki Carry ST90 Cab ChassisWith Aluminium Tray back and Aluminium Bull Bar
LOW RESERVE.
Pickup Myocum NSW 2481. Northern NSW

I have owned this vehicle for near 20 years.  It was my other daily driver. In 2003, I did not renew the NSW registration opting instead to put it into my shed with the vision that one day, in my retirement, I would restore it back to its former glory and once again enjoy driving it. Over the 15 years of storage, I started it up occasionally and drove it in and out of the shed and in my driveway just to ensure the engine remained operative.  Now retired, health hiccups interrupted my plans and thus my wife has encouraged me to pass my rare ST90 onto another enthusiast of these amazing little fuel miser carriers.
Be it my Suzuki ST90 is36 years old, it starts up and runs nicely as per today!https://youtu.be/j5aqOL4XdZo

I always had green anti rust additive in the radiator/engine though when started up today, it leaked a little coolant from where the two bottom radiator hoses connect via a metal pipe joiner.*  The body is straight!*  ZERO rust in the roof gutters.  *  The doors are rusty BUT.... I do have a completely rust free drivers door. Passenger door needs replacing or worst case scenario, can be repaired if that is preferred.*   As per photos, there is very small rust hole in the floor left and right side but mainly showing surface rust otherwise the floor and firewall is very sound.  Other rust is in the left bottom corner of the windscreen and bottom front corners of the body.  Touches of rust here and there as per photos as would be expected for a 36 year old original vehicle but in saying that, the body and chassis is very very solid and all rust areas are repairable.  This is by no means is a rusted out/non restorable body.
* ENGINE, CHASSIS/BODY NUMBERS MATCH THE PLATE (see photos)* Gearbox and running gear all very good when I had this on the road.* Crack in windscreen BUT..... I have a spare windscreen for you.* I was told by the previous owner near 20 years ago that it was genuine kilometres on the ST90.  I had no reason to doubt it and thus it has only travelled 129,680KM to date.* Factory or dealer fitted aluminium trayback and bull bar since new.* Brakes no longer work after years of storage.  Handbrake still works.
This was one fun vehicle to drive. Easy to park, lots of loading space on the tray back and an amazing little nippy vehicle that ran on the smell of an oily rag.  It also was one head turner.
This vehicle with matching numbers should never be used for spares. It is too good for that and where else do you see on the road today an ST90 tray back?
BONUS....Over the years, I collected spares for this beauty.  I have a spare radiator, spare engine, spare gearbox and lots of other spares as one collects when they have a rare car.  All the spares go with the car for FREE if you want them.  Also a full set of never used wheels and tyres go with it FOR FREE.
I would want this to go to a good home.
