Description

Registered 1995 with 89,000 miles. Ruby Mica Red.
I have owned the car
for 8 years and it has been serviced and looked after by ex factory guys at X
Works, Kirkham, who by the way are excellent.
The car has the V8 Rover serpentine engine with Borg Warner
T5 gearbox and PAS which seem to be the preferred options.
The body and paint are very, very good, it has been
resprayed at some point before my ownership.
The chassis, outriggers and wishbones are all solid. When I
bought the car I cleaned them all off and applied rust converter and two pack
epoxy paint. That has been touched up every couple of years.
The wheels are original and pretty much immaculate, the rear
tyres will need replacing soon.
Interior is good with no tears or rips although it would
probably benefit from new carpets.
Dash is carbon style, LED dash lights, push button start.
Leven wiper/washers and interior stalks.
I have had no MOT fails or advisories in my ownership. The
last MOT being valid until 2nd April 2021.
I have had the following work done:
New hood fitted by Trim Technician
Original alarm removed and Scorpion alarm fitted
Rear discs, pads and braided hoses
PAS rack boots and U bend
Front Bilstein dampers and bushes
Exhaust manifold gaskets replaced
Sump resealed
Fuel pump and relays
The usual Chimaera problems, alarm, hot start, fuel pump and
fan wiring have all been sorted. There is no drain on the battery and we have
been to Italy in the car (twice).
