1997 JAGUAR XJ6 3.2 SPORT (X300) BURGUNDY METALLIC CREAM LEATHER INTERIOR
The time has come to sell my lovely 1997 Jaguar XJ6 3.2 Sport in beautiful deep burgundy red, the best colour in my opinion, to help fund my next purchase.I have owned this Jaguar since 2013 as it was a 40th birthday present to myself having lusted after one for many years. I am the third owner, the first owner had this car for around 3 years & the second for around 13 years.I have a folder with lots of history including all books, wallets & a stamped service book. I have continued to keep this up to date having had it serviced at a local Jaguar independent specialist. The Jaguar drives lovely and I have enjoyed a number of happy miles driving this wonderful Jag, but is not new and has age related patina. I have fitted a new battery this year and a new windscreen is to be fitted this week after a chip developed into a crack.I have had both N/S wheels refurbished some time ago. I renewed the N/S rear wheel bearing from a so called Jaguar specialist from ebay however it hasn't lasted well so I have got a quality one from my local bearing shop but have not got round to fitting it. A few new parts are to go with this car, rear wheel bearing & front shock to body bushes and 2 ball joints. I have renewed all 4 tyres with Dunlop Sportmax RT's & Track rod ends while in my ownership & they still have plenty of life left in them. As most owners will know these models have some usual faults & mine is no exception. The headlining is sagging, the LCD display on the clock is only partially visible & the lacquer on the roof and boot is peeling.
