Up for sale is my 1999 Ford Econoline E350 extended cargo 7.3-PowerStroke-turbodiesel van
It was someone's work van previously, I bought it in 2006 with 233k miles on it and in 14 years of ownership this vehicle has never left me stranded - this is an extremely strong and reliable workhorse of a truck.
Has a proper "U-Haul" brand tow hitch and a proper electronic trailer brake controller (new in 2018), we used it occasionally to pull my light race-car trailer with zero issues. Has a homemade shelf in the cargo area on the right- see photos. Race car parts and tires seen in the back of the van in photos are obviously not included in the sale.
Van starts right up and runs very strong, has great power and the automatic transmission is fine. Just did a cross-country trip in summer of '19 out to Western Canada with it.AC is ice-cold and heat is hot !
Needs some work, as outlined below - please familiarize yourself with the list of "good and bad" things as follows:
* the GOOD: *brand-new vacuum pump (engine-driven pump, a common failure item)front tires are new Michelins installed 2500 miles ago (the rear tires are good, just not brand-new)AC compressor replaced in 2019, system leak-tested and recharged, blows ICE-coldboth batteries are "Interstate" brand, they're 4-5 yrs old but still perfect and hold charge for monthsmaintained "no expense spared" over the years by local Ford Powerstroke specialist with regular oil changes;too many new things to list - heater blower, wipers, hubs, seals, hoses, calipers etc - whatever broke over the years- was promptly fixed* the BAD: * a rear brake line blew out and has been capped, only front brakes are functioning at the moment - this must be fixedthere is rust on the body, doors, front fascia under grill - please see pics, I tried my best to show itengine rear main seal has a fairly significant leak - it has been that way since I bought it in 2006, it doesn't affect the way it runs but leaves a puddle of oilABS light is on - has been this way since '06 when I bought itradio is badseats are not great and overall interior condition is consistent with a 21-yr-old work van - see photos
