Selling my 2004 Ford Excursion Limited, AKA "The King of SUV's" which they ARE! However, the Excursion is a whole lot more than that. They are pretty much the ultimate combination of the biggest, most plush SUV ever produced sitting on a Ford Super Duty 4-wheel drive chassis. Toss in the Ford 6.0L Powerstroke Diesel and Ford Factory towing package and there's pretty much nowhere you can't go while towing a camper, boat, etc. along for the ride. I purchased this unit 2 years ago after selling my 2003 F250 6.0 Super Duty Pickup. Upon purchase, the previous owner informed me that he had head gaskets installed at around 170,000 miles. With that in mind, I decided to finish "bulletproofing" it, including new injectors, Glow Plugs, and COMPLETE new engine control harness. Also replaced FICM, HPOP, IPR, and all associated sensors, etc. Turbo was torn down, cleaned, unison ring replaced, and new VGT solenoid installed. Additionally, performed EGR delete, installed Diamond Eye Brand 4" aluminized turbo back straight pipe exhaust and S&B Cold Air Intake System. In reality, ALL of the "known" issues that these 6.0's suffer from have been addressed. Ford OEM parts used in all cases. I have meticulously maintained engine and Transmission. Several wheel bearings were replaced, and brakes, including calipers, rotors and hardware are all in excellent condition. Air bag suspension and new gas shocks were added at all 4 wheels. Truck was completely refinished in Black Urethane last year and has NO rust-through or hidden damage ANYWHERE! Bumpers are NEW and were powder-coated at time of paint job. Stock wheels pwdercoated satin black. Front seats have been recovered and rest of interior is in very good shape. Please don't misunderstand...this truck was by no means a clunker when I bought it...I'm just a little too particular, I guess, and like my "stuff" to look sharp and work well. Truck is currently daily driver and could use a little TLC inside and I will have it professionally detailed if winner/buyer so desires. Front AND rear HVAC work perfectly! Upgraded headlights and telescopic towing mirrors were installed in addition to aftermarket back-up camera which really comes in handy. There are NO problems with this vehicle whatsoever! Truck starts, runs, and drives EXCELLENTLY! I urge any and all local prospective buyers to inspect in person and test drive, should they so desire. You will not be disappointed!
