Description
2014 Sierra 1500 SLE Regular Cab Short Box 4X4________________________________________________________
Very (Very) lightly used GMC pickup. It's absolutely MINT! I bought it new (Senior citizen owner). Truck has been used primarily to haul car parts for my automotive hobby. It's never been off road, and 4WD Low has only been engaged in the snow once or twice since new. Its a Canadian truck and at the time of this writing, it has 41,735 Kilometres -- that works out to 25,933 or so miles. There is one very tiny door dent next to the gas filler door and there are some scratches on the bed floor. Otherwise, the truck is absolutely perfect.
Equipment includes all Standard Sierra SLE features. The truck is powered by a 5.3 Litre flex fuel (gasoline or E85) V8. Its backed by a 6-speed automatic transmission. Options include the SLE Preferred Equipment Group -- 10 way power driver seat, remote vehicle start, 110V AC power outlet, rear window defogger, front fog lamps, theft deterrent system; Chrome Package with chrome recovery hooks, polished exhaust tips and a chrome gas filler door (included with truck, but not installed); 20-inch machined aluminum wheels; Z71 Off Road Suspension Package with Rancho shocks, transfer case shield, hill descent control, high capacity air cleaner; Trailering Package; molded splash guards; chrome Z71 emblems and an engine block heater. The truck obviously has a/c, cruise control, power windows, power door locks, 40-20-40 cloth bucket seats (with 3-passenger capability); tilt steering, remote keyless entry, AM-FM-CD-Satellite Radio (I don't have a subscription),steering wheel audio controls, leather wrapped steering wheel, lighted vanity mirrors, hands-free telephone integration, power heated mirrors, traction control, back up camera, locking tailgate and more.
The tires are brand new BF Goodrich KO T/As in the stock P275-55R20 size. I don't think they have more than 100 miles on them. The only other changes from stock are a Craftec tonneau cover, and a bug deflector on the hood.
The truck has never had any paint work (zero collisions). The glass is great. Engine compartment and undercarriage are both mint. The black and grey cloth interior is mint. Non-smoker. It has spent it's entire life on Vancouver Island, off Canada's west coast. The climate here is very gentle on vehicles.
If you're an American buyer, I can deliver the truck to the US-Canadian border crossing at Peace Arch (south of Vancouver, BC). Easy Export to the USA (No extra taxes or duties). I can help to arrange a broker to simplify the process. The broker fees are typically a couple hundred dollars. Then it's allveryeasy to get a "commercial carrier"....ie: Tow Truck to haul it across the border to you in the USA. This looks after the COVID restrictions. Or you can have it professionally transported to your destination by any number of commercial carriers. Many of them look after all of the paperwork (brokerage). The truck is currently licensed in my name and insured in the Canadian Province of British Columbia. Our version of a title is an "Owner's Certificate of Insurance and Vehicle Registration". That will be signed over to the new buyer (as per a title in the USA).
It's probably no secret these regular cab short box trucks aren't exactly easy to find. And its even more difficult to find a beautiful one in this condition. This is an absolutely exceptional truck. And since GM no longer sells regular cab short bed trucks in North America (GRRRR...), they are only going to become more difficult to find as time goes on.
I encourage anyone who is interested in the truck to see it in person or have someone inspect it for you. The truck is available for inspection by appointment. I have described this truck to the best of my ability and am not responsible for any mistakes or inaccuracies in the listing. This truck is soldas is where is with NO warranty expressed or implied. Please have your finances ready before you bid on this truck. A $500.00 non-refundable security deposit will be required 24 hours after the winning bid, with the balance to be paid in full 24 hours after auction end. The preferred method of payment is a wire transfer. If you would like to pay with a bank draft, the truck will be held until the check clears my bank. Shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser.
