Description

Originally 253 auto tangerine orange gts monaro.
Current paint was done in the early 90s the same time a 350 chev and t400 transmission was installed.
I have owned this hq since 2013, in 2019 I had the 350 completely rebuilt and stroked to 383 by Molinari race engines, running a 750 holley carby with a mild cam and all new bolt on's.
4 into 1 pacemakers.
High volume sump.
Only driven a couple of times since rebuild to run in and service.
The t400 transmission was also completely rebuilt by Pro Autos in Dandenong with a shift kit installed and paired up with a stall convertor to suit.
10 bolt diffIt has a new radiator with a thermo fan unit installed along with a new battery.
I also had the interior re-trimmed to the original specs, the floor was stripped back painted and dyno matted in the process.
The body and paint is in great condition considering age but not show room perfect with stone chips and some previous repairs done before paint(repairs circled red in photos) other than that it is a rust free and straight car.
HQ Statesman front clip, front bumper is paint not chrome.
Bonnet sits high as it has an air gap inlet manifold, you may wish to find an air filter lower enough to close the bonnet properly, a new 2 inch hornet scoop is supplied with the sale.
Still needs new tail pipes, wiring, cab mounts and bushes (new cab mounts/bushes kit supplied)
Only selling as we're a young family building our first home and just wont have time/cash to finish it any time soon.
Do not have the original motor unfortunately.
