Description

This MGB has a 18GAUH engine number which places it as an early Australian vehicle.
It is seriously rusty and includes the rear offside quarter panel.
It has not been started in many years and I have put fresh oil in the engine and tried to get it running. It has a spark from the coil lead and despite a new rotor arm, condensor, distributor cap and leads, there is something stopping the spark from the coil lead getting to the spark plugs. Cranking the engine over it has oil pressure and compression.
It is fitted with a Weber DCOE45, which was rebuilt recently. It has an oil cooler fitted and an aluminium bonnet. It has the soft top hoops and damaged vinyl hood as photographed. It does not have a key.
It is located in Tighes Hill near Newcastle and the access for a tilt tray or car float is good.On 09-Nov-20 at 09:50:14 AEDST, seller added the following information:There is a Youtube clip called 'Weber DCOE45 now on rusty MGB'. This clip shows the Weber running ON ANOTHER ENGINE following the carburetor being rebuilt in the last few months.
